I posted this in another thread because at the time, I was too new to create my own threads. Thanks to the people in that thread I now understand how amps work, but I'm still having trouble locating this technical information about these Sega boards.
Basically, the power supplies I have now are rated at +5V/16A, -5V/0.5A, and +12V/6A, but according to happ, the replacement PSU is rated at +5V/15A, -5V/1A, and +12V/5.5A. Now it's my understanding that as long as the board doesn't require more than those, I should be good to go. But I can't seem to find out how much draw the Model 1 and 2 boards take.
I've looked at system16 and checked the manuals for the games and unless I'm missing it, I just can't find how many amps these things need. Does anyone here know by any chance?
