I'm waiting until Deathsmiles 2 gets released so I can have both games ship together. Once they arrive, expect to find me playing Duo's multiplayer very often.
i didnt get into senko(a little ugly for me, dc quality)...gameplay may be better multi..?
it was the really underdeveloped character models that i didnt like, VERY basic almost entirely geometric with almost no attention to detail(compare it to voot)...
G.rev did that on purpose as a stylistic choice. Senko's gameplay is inspired by Virtual On, so it's pretty likely that the graphical style was inspired by it too. I personally like the style.
The models in DUO are far more complex in terms of design, though they still maintain a similar style.
the mechs seemed very simplistic to me..like they were modeled for a dc or ps2 poly count...

I believe it was released April 2005 in arcades. I don't think it matters what platform a game is on. If it's a good quality game and your a fan, that's a personal thing. Graphics shouldn't be a primary thing anyway. At least not for me. I actually love how SnR looks. I mean, the NES Mega Man series is still being released on current gen consoles and still selling well with its classic graphical style even though it's priced at $10. Senko No Ronde sold well and earned a Platinum Hits release in Japan.the character models in the dc shmups are never presented as close up as they are in snr. everything is displayed at a distance so textures and details arent as important, but snr zooms in frequently. ...some dc games are lacking when compared to say CAVE level of detail(mushi).. but the dc is also a 10+ year old system..the xbox 360 is not. when did that game come out on naomi? isnt the naomi hardware kinda a successor to the dc(or similar)? maybe thats why snr feel like a dc game to me. and your right if i were to compare it to a dc game it wouldnt be that bad..but it was released as an xbox 360 game.
hentia sama..any preferred links for checking out duo?
ditto sir...ditto.I wonder what other shooters are coming for XB360 over the next few years?
