Joystick advice!!!

Ok here's another good question for joysticks:

All the versions from Happs are adjustable to be mounted in different size controlpanels (of varying thickness).

Personally I prefer a "tighter" feel on the joysticks so even though I'm using 5/8 thick wood, I mounted my Ultimate Joysticks with the short spacer. And it works extremely well.

However the Ultimate Joystick has the longest actual "stick" out of the 3 setups.

What I want to know is how many people here use the Competition Joystick or the Super Joystick and mount them with the short spacer in a 3/4" thick control panel?

I'd really appreciate any help you all can give to me!

stick with the ultimate. I've been using them for a long time now, and I've heard nothing but complaints about the others.

One thing though, get a 4-way for older games. You wouldn't believe how miserable pac-man can be with an 8-way!!

Personally, I'd rather know who else prefers a nice tight feel on their stick? LOL
