I just got an new astro city cab and I am having some issues with the audio out through the jamma connector. Even at max volume turned up in side the cab the audio is very low. The new astro city is suppose to have a built in amplifier so I am wondering why this is? I have not tried it with a MVS board yet so I don't know if it's an issue with the cps2 only.

Has anybody else ran into this low volume issue? Is there some kind of volume adjust on the cps2 board or in the cp2 configuration menu?

Also, one more question.

Is it possible to connect the RCA Q sound out to the new astro city? Or so I need an external amplifier?

I think for the Q sound you would need other stuff, but I'm not quite sure. As for your volume problem, there are volume buttons on the side of the CPS2. Toward the Jamma connector on the side there's buttons for "TEST" and then "VOLUME UP" and "DOWN."

Just like oo said. You could also adjust the volume through the test menu sound settings on some boards.

Ok I'll check the actual cps2 board for volume adjustment when I get home. I can't up the sound in the test menu yet because I need to get my monitor chasis replaced or repaired. On that note, if anybody has a nanao ms9-29 for sale PM me.
