What is the most effective way to clean AES carts and the actual AES console?

Having some audio/video issues on a game.

Thanks for any input....

Didn't you just buy this console? And it already had a unibios issue and now audio and video?

After you clean it try inserting the cart about 5 times before powering on.

I bought it about a year ago. I was afraid it was a Unibios issue, but from talking to Raz, it sounds like a contact problem. SVC is the only game I have problems with. I'll try the old cotton swab/alcohol trick....

I have the free 2.2 uni and would like to upgrade to the paid 3.o version anyway....

ps. I bought the game brand new from the Neostore, so that gives me worry that it might not be the game....funny that it's the only one that has problems though. Never had any problems with any other Neostore purchases. I'll just clean it and the AES real good....

if you really want to clean the contacts on a cart well, go to an office supply store and buy one of those white/gray erasers. The gray side is kinda gritty and it does wonders for scrubbing contacts clean.

I opened all my MVS carts and scrubbed all the contacts till they were bright and shiny. I never have a problem with carts not working anymore. I also used it on all my NES and Genesis games and they all work like a charm.

It won't wear down the contacts enough to damage a cart, just blow everything off really good after wards so you don't get eraser crumbs in your system.

i can second the eraser method, works great and ive used it for a while but just recently tried cleaning the contacts of a game with a jewelry polishing cloth, and that got it looking brand new.
