Okay I've seen some crazy stuff lately. S-Video, RCA, Debug kits, and even conversions...

Is there anyone out there that will convert controllers from one system to the Neo-Geo?? Like a SNES or Saturn pad??? This would be absolutely heavinly! A tour-de-force in giving a helping hand!

Let me know what you think!

The service of a lifetime?
Sounds downright sick.
Never mind, my mind is in the gutter on this post.

OK, I'll do it, but I'm in the UK.

Control conversions are a bitch because the neo requires a +5V voltage to run the sticks.

I'm actually working on a PSX controller conversion now. It's not that hard a job wiring up the controller for the neo, it's just a pain to get it to fit back together nicely (you generally require more wires than the controller normally has). Basically all you do is run a new wire with a DB15 connector to the controller of your choice, and then bypass the controllers normal circuitry by soldering directly to the switches in the controller. I a week or two I should have a site up on how to do everything (I hope). Check below in this thread I had a post going along these lines.

Peace

That sort of conversion is a joke to perform.

ANY controller will work. If it multiplexes the signal down fewer wires, so what. Just solder wires straight onto the end of each button and some on the stick.

That's what I did on my DC arcade sticks. They now work with both DC and MVS. Cool.
