hmmmm.... I am not to sure with the Neo CD but check the power supplies you have and make sure the settings aren't way off. I am not sure what the power supplies from Europe are like compared to a US or Jap one for that matter. other than that just make sure all the plugs are snug or RF if you use it.

If you are using a Euro Neo on a US/Jap TV, or a JAP/US on a Euro TV, you will get a black and white picture, as NTSC and PAL carry colour information on different frequencies.

Make sure you use a TV AND RF modulator from the same country (or composite/s-video).

OK, the answer here is to convert to PAL. Here's how to do this, for anyone who needs to know. You'll need a soldering iron, a little solder, and a desolder pump/braid is handy.

Locate R47. Replace this with a 16k resistor.

Remove R42, and put in a link where it was (solder a wire across the contacts).

This could of course be toggled, using a DPDT switch.

2 ways to fix it.. you gotta replace a resistor and change a jumper inside the system to set it to PAL, OR you get/build a RGB cable, if your TV has a scart connector.
instructions/pinouts for both can be found at www.gamesx.com.

I'd say I'd be interested in your old one, except its a little too far away <IMG SRC="smilies/frown.gif" border="0">

I could give you contact details for people in England or the US for spare PSUs - postage may be a bit though.

GUI, Australia is a PAL country. Here is a complete list for everyone: http://www.3dresearch.com/video/Countries2.html

I guess a replacement PS would be best, but I don't what the local voltage is for you and thus how difficult it may be to locate one. I may be able to get another Japanese power supply, though it wouldn't be cheap. Unless it was 3rd party, which might not be in-stock anymore.

Woooah, what's going on here!!??!?!?!

I *CAN* get you a replacement PSU and it won't cost the earth - probably could get you either a Jap one or if you're 240v, a UK or Euro one (you'd need an adapter - if your mains supply is above 120v you'd need a step down transformer).
