Anyone following the event?

Aside from the Ghana team disaster ( terrorist attacks ) , it's been cool so far.

Can't say that I have. I'm sure there's a lot of talents for the scouts to get hard over, but I don't care much for African teams.

Not so sure on the scouting thing.

A significant number of those African players already set foot in European teams.

First match of Angola was fun. They were winning 4-0 at '80 and then conceded 4 goals at light speed !!

4-4 for an opener is always nice :D

That sure sounds like one hell of a match, bet the manager was plenty pissed at losing a 4 goal lead though.

Of course there's the known talent, but those guys are irrelevant. The unknown talent is what every manager with a tight purse is looking for.

The Hosts ( Angola ) have lost to Ghana so far.

1-0. They're out of the semis.

your Internazionale hatred thing is twisting your mind.

you're smarter than that.
this cup is currently being the most honest I recall to date.

You should blame special arrangements from the "Scandinavian alliance" like in Euro 2004, where they drew on purpose just to screw Italy.

come on, you know that was funny. Anyhow, I wonder if Inter will need Pandev after this cup is over.
