If the Neo uses a Type-II PCMCIA slot and memory cards, could one purchase a 750 mb Type-II microdrive and place it in ones NEO? Or would it not work without drivers? Best Buy won't take back stuff like that opened, so I wanna get some opinions before I try and do this myself.

I'm pretty sure that most of those types of drives use protocols (PC Card ATA and CompactFlash) derived from ATA/IDE that are probably not supported by the Neo Geo BIOS. Unless you're going to pick it up anyway for something more useful, I'd say it's not worth the risk if you can't return it. Also in discussions about this, it's worth noting that Type I/II/III (as defined by PCMCIA) refers only to the card's thickness (3.3mm, 5.0mm, and 10.5mm, respectively) and not a particular memory access standard, so just because a card is a PC Card / PCMCIA Type II doesn't mean that the Neo can necessarily access it. Hope this helps.

Yeah, besides... you will never even fill up 1 MEG of that, the original card is like 12K! As for the PCMCIA cards, most any TYPE II should work. The Neo can format or attempt to format the card, it may not get the size right but it will work. (I wonder if it would format it down to 12K?) Anyway, buy the Microdrive for your PDA and try it in your Neo, but don't expect it to work <IMG SRC="smilies/smile.gif" border="0">
