I can't see why there would be sync issues with the converter's component output (I thought yuv was a standard). Do you have any other tv's (with component input) you can test it on?
Does the SCART cable have European SCART wiring (not Japanese)? That converter is made in the UK so it's likely the input would be European SCART. The official SNK RGB cables are Japanese-wired SCART. So the TV doesn't have an RGB SCART input?

I have one of those cmvs' from Tomcat,i am using it on an old tube tv.
The TV you want to use it on needs to support ntsc and 60 hz or it won't work.Don't know if this was helpfull and have no idea on the component converter.

I thought RGB and component had nothing to do with the NTSC color system. If the TV has component it's likely to support NTSC anyway.
CRT's are better for the Neo than LCD or plasma. You could have 2 tv's, one plasma and a CRT for the Neo.

Hi,

Recently received a consolized from Tomcat which uses RGB scart output. I bought one of these, so I could output component video to my plasma

but I can't seem to get a picture. I'm sure it's just a sync issue.

Has anyone with experience of this, offer any advice?

Cheers, Lee

Send them an email, it's either your TV doesn't like the sync or that thing is JP Scart. Confirm if it's Euro or JP scart first.

the label it says it supports NTSC. So that would mean it would support 60Hz as well, as 60Hz is part of the NTSC standard.

Hi,

Suspect there may be something wrong with the RGB to Component adaptor. It doesn't work with my CDZ either. I've contacted the original seller.

OK,

quick update. The JSTech RGB to Component Video is fine. It works with a DVD player outputting RGB.

So, it must be the Neo's (Consolized and CDZ).

Both show as RGB scart on my smaller LCD's, but I bought the Component convertor, so I can use the Neo's on my plasma. I have the CDZ up for sale, but would really like to be able to use the consolized on my plasma.

Could I use the Neobitz convertor to wire in an S-Video output for the consolized? Has anyone any instructions how to do this? My board is a MV1FZ.

Any other options?

Cheers, Lee
