The vast majority of those games don't hold up very well, especially compared to their 8-Bit NES counterparts..
Blasphemy! I'm not going to say that GB is better per se than NES but, to say they don't hold up is ridiculous. I've been a GB fan since it came out over 20 years ago and to hear a comment like this just makes me want to cry. I guess not everyone appreciates classic games these days....
I've been reacquiring most of the games I used to have when I was younger. It's been about a year and I have about 40 games so far. Just to let everyone know, GB is one of the harder systems to collect...especially if you plan on trying to get all the games you want complete in the box. The plastic inner tray that holds the game and hard shell case in place does not always come with the game, either. Which is a shame because I need like 15 of these....
I can definitely recommend some games you guys haven't mentioned
Bionic Commando (easily 1 billion times better than the NES version)
Gargoyle's Quest (my favorite game ever...one of the best action games, IMO)
Link's Awakening
Kirby's Dreamland 1 and 2
Batman
Operation C
Metroid 2: Return of Samus
Battletoads (I like this much better than the NES version)
Cosmo Tank (GREAT early Atlus game)
Nemesis (of the Gradius series)
Final Fantasy Adventure (AKA Seiken Densetsu AKA the ORGINIAL Secret of Mana)
Double Dragon 2
Mega Man (in particular IV and V)
Castlevania: Belmont's Revenge
Castlevania: Legends (just picked this up for $25 complete, BTW

)
I could go on and on. I still have a lot more games I want to get my hands on. I think I'll go on record and say that I'm in negotiations with someone to acquire most of his collection. It's going to take awhile to get everything but, I will definitely post some pics when I'm done getting what I want on the system.
