Cap Kit: TOEI TC-A252K

I think I need a cap kit for this display board. The red is not displaying on my Neo MVS-U4-29 cabinet all the sudden. It has the original Toshiba tube, I figured something was going bad because on random powering-up of the cabinet the red would be present, or not

Is there somewhere I can order a kit from? or recommended troubleshooting if it's something else.

Bad solder joint causing intermittent connection on red transistor on neck board.

Reflow all solder joints of your RGB transistors.

Thanks for the reply! Is it easy to identify the RGB transistors on the neck board? 1st time doing this, feel comfortable following advice here and guides/tutorials off the net. Wanted to ask beforehand.

Yeah its a piece of piss you'll see 3 transistors of the same type, and they'll probably be the only transistors on the board.

Well, it turned out to be a lose Neck Board connection to the pins. If I toggled it the red would disappear or re-appear.

Resurrecting an old thread......I got fed up with the random issues and finally decided to fix. I took the neck board off and removed the black heat sinks on the 3 transistors "NEC C2688". I replaced with 3 new ones and PROBLEM SOLVED. If this didn't work I was probably going to next have to troubleshoot the tube going bad. Thankfully not.

If anyone has similar issues on their tubes with colors not present all the sudden (red, green, blue) I recommend checking the transistors on the neck board first before looking elsewhere.
