Are Sigma Sticks compatible with the AES

Garg mentioned that Neo sticks work on the sigma, but what about the opposite? Can sigma sticks work on the neo?

if they don't right away, it should be pretty easy to build an adapter.. they use 1:1 wiring (1 wire for each button and direction) just like the neogeo.
