I know the multi-link has been discussed before, but I was wondering if anyone has specifically used it with MVS League bowling on 2 cabs. I bought a stereo male to male link cable from radio shack.(6ft. I made sure it was the correct size as well)
Just today I got another mv-1fz and an additional copy of League Bowling. I set the hard dips on both boards as such:
cab 1:
dip4 5 6
off off on
cab 2:
dip4 5 6
off on on
The cable went from the output on cart 1 in cab 1 to the input on cart 2 cab 2.
I turn both cabs on and see that there is an additional selection on cab 1 after player 4. It's in Japanese but looks to be the multi-link. After selecting that, a countdown begins, which I assume give you time to insert coins and press start on the other cab. I did just that, but did not see the multi-link on cab 2 and when I press start it just goes into a single player game.
Does anyone know if I'm doing something wrong, or maybe one of my boards muti-link isn't working? From what I can tell, I was doing everything correctly.
