I bought a Battletoads PCB from a friend at a convention this year. It's played perfectly on my supergun until this past weekend when I tried firing it up with my brother. The TV sees that the game is on (doesn't display what input that it's on) but, there is absolutely no video/sound. I noticed that the game has the same battery in one of that corners that newer CPS1 games have (ie. Knights of the Round, Cadillacs and Dinosaurs, etc.) and I'm starting to believe that it may have suicided.

If so, is there anyone here that can fix this problem or knows anything specific about the PCB? Please PM if you can help. Thanks in advance.

I can't find any info that Battletoads will suicide. The little lithium battery should be there to store settings while the system is powered off...
