Does anyone make MVS to AES conversion carts for very cheap?

What would be the average price.

My curiousity lays in the fact that I want an AES system with a few select games but, I dont wanna pay AES prices for carts.

This was the list of games I was looking to eventually get converted

Blazing Star
Ganryu / Musashi Ganryuki
Garou: Mark of the Wolves
King of Fighters 2000
King of Fighters 2001
King of Fighters 2002
King of Fighters 2003
Magical Drop 3
Metal Slug X
Metal Slug 3
Metal Slug 4
Metal Slug 5
Neo Bomberman
Rage of the Dragons
Samurai Shodown 5 / Samurai Spirits Zero
Samurai Shodown 5 Special / Samurai Spirits Zero Special
Sengoku 3 / Sengoku Legends 2001
Shock Troopers
Shock Troopers 2nd Squad
SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom
Waku Waku 7
Zed Blade / Operation Ragnarok

Could give a two shits about preservation of over priced pieces of plastic. CMVS dont look as nice as a aes either. Convert is useful but doesnt really leave a nice looking collection.

King of Fighters 2000
King of Fighters 2001
King of Fighters 2002
SVC Chaos: SNK vs. Capcom
Metal Slug 3

Not trying to sound like a jerk or anything...but you need to do some more research, otherwise someone is really going to take advantage of you....

Alot of these games aren't that expensive. I mean, KOF 2000 can easily be found for like $90....I think someone was selling one of the forum not too long ago for like $75...

And the rest of those games can easily be found for $100-$150 (at max)

I honestly don't think even people who do make conversions will take the time/trouble to locate sac carts/boxes, artwork etc for these games...it just wouldn't make any sense financially as they are not expensive/rare enough.

I don't think anyone would even convert a Metal Slug 3...I mean that game is about $250-$275.

As far as conversions for genuinely rare/expensive games like Metal Slug etc....those will generally cost between $150 and $200.

So you would rather spend more money by having somebody make conversions? What you say isn't very consistent either. I mean you don't want to pay AES prices but you want an AES because it "looks nice"? So if you are trying to save money buy and MVS or Super MVS Convertor. Talk about thick skulled.

After seeing tony starks' signature I realized you might want to contact KPJ about some conversions. I bet he'll give you a real fair price.

Thanks for the info. I really always just look on ebay for general prices and they always suck on AES games.

I guess my issue is Im a cheap ass in ways. No neogeo game is worth more than $100 to me. It's not that they arent good its just that most of them wont get enough play to merit the cost. Its not like I have people knotching on my door daily asking for a match. I might just start looking into doing my own conversions on the more expensive games.

Are there any bootleg carts that can be had for next to nothing and have enough room to store big games on there memory?

the key to this hobby is being patient :) If you hang around these forums enough, I am sure you can find many of the games on your list for around $100-$125 (maybe a little more).

Alot of people are turned off by AES collecting, but you can get many MUST HAVE games for reasonable prices. I think if you extend your limit from $100 to $150, you can have awesome AES collection.

In all seriousness, when I first got into the hobby, I had a $150 rule. If I could find the aes version for under $150, I would buy it. If the AES version was more than $150, then I bought the MVS version.

Just off the top of my head, I got ALL of the following games following that rule

King Of Fighters 94-00
Samurai Spirits 1-4
Art of Fighting 1-3
Fatal Fury- Real Bout FFS
Last Blade
and many others

Then for games like MOTW, Metal Slug etc, I got the MVS versions. I understand what you are saying about conversions, as i looked into them when I first got into the hobby a few years ago. But honestly, it will be way more cost effective to buy a super converter 2 and a handful of MVS games....not to mention the whole "ethical" issue involved.
