Does anyone know if the pass through on the Jrok v4 board is same as the signal going in or is it split or amplified some how? Long story short i want to run both the jrok board and the use the rgbs output signal on 2 different monitors. I'm wondering if i need to build a amp to split the signal before the board or if I can just use the output as is or a amp after the board to get a better signal.

You need an amp. The pass through is only if you make an on/off switch for your encoder.

Oh well so much for hopeing. Any suggestions on a amp that would be reasonable to build for this? I know there are a few out there but I haven't messed with any so any suggestions would be great.

Are you sure an amp is necessary?

Simply terminating both ends of each output with a 75 ohm load could quite possibly be adequate.

It's not needed but when running dual monitors the picture is a bit dark. I think it depends on what PCB you use really.

Hmm fair enough.. Should be able to make an amp with 3 BC548's for about $1.
