Must AVERAGE "AAA" for all rounds won. You can lose rounds and continue, but won rounds must have an AVERAGE of "AAA" or you will finish with Grant and then get credits. No Kain. I also think you can't have a "C" grade either, regardless of your average, but not sure.

RyoGeo is absolutely correct, however I thought it was overall AA, ahh doesn't matter... that is the key... And no C victories allowed, or the game ends with Grant. It is a little hard at first, but once you get better at the game you will easily get AAA on every board if not better

yep,its a piece of piss, even by not trying too hard its easy enough to get a trebble A but as they said you might get all SSS in each of the first 5 rounds then get one C If you have a really bad round and end up with no Kain,if ever you feel you are going to get a C in a round, just lose that round and try again again though the endings dont make too much sense?

So "S" is good?

One more tip. If you totally screw the pooch and get a "C" on your first round victory, throw the fight and continue (or if whatever rank hurts your average too much). Also, if you are doing poorly on your second win round, you can also tank and continue. That way, your fight with that opponent starts fresh and you can still maintain your high average and face Kain.

[edit]

And yes, S is good, SSS is awesome and I think there is a "Miracle" rank as well.

Yes, there is indeed a Miracle rank, I managed to get one against Kain too...though Im sure I had one C when I got to him, maybe not. Took me $4 before I could finally beat that bastard with a miracle rank...I'm too proud to use a continue service, heh. Hokutomaru rules, by the way.

A truely oustanding game in the ranks of all fighters. Definetely the best neo fighting game next to the samurai series. I had to by one english cart and one jap I love it so much. Unfortunately my wallet does not.

well put. But I don't know if it's fair to compare MotW to the SS games (SS2 in my mind). They're both really great, but too different to compare.

Yea,

the same like in RBFFS...hehe!!!
An average-rank over "AAA", that means more S than "AAA", no "C"...

Hmmm, of course there´s a mircale-rank, on top of "SSS".
You´ll get it, on 100% hitingquote, 100% health and if you finished them with "Power-Special"...so check it out...

UHH..... They're talking about the rankings for MOTW. The rankings on the top of the life meter after you win the round
