problems with a mv2fs

i have a 2 slotter a mv2fs..i haven't touched it in a long time...so today i dusted it off and turned it on..it will go through the hardware test and if a game is in slot on the screen will go black...slot two is fine ...any ideas what could be wrong ? thanks

Have you cleaned the slots (usually get a x-hatch if dirty though)

i blew out the slot with compressed air

Go to http://www.hardmvs.com and you'll find cleaning instructions for the slots.

While you're at it, clean the carts too.

ok i bought some contact cleaner...i cleaned the contacts on the board and it still doesn't work...any other ideas ?

Check the area around the battery. Check for battery leakage.

i checked the battery for leakage and i didn't see any...i'm at a loss as why slot one won't work
