Can anyone tell me the difference between the different language modes of the Neo Geo AES system, and what impact it has on games?
Here's why I'm asking... I'm really close to buying a modded AES. By default, it comes up in European mode. I can't help but feel a little bit paranoid about that. I realize I can switch to US or Jap using debug bios controls, but I would have to do that every single time. Does this affect the language displayed in games? Or does it have any impact on video modes or anything?
Or, if it only impacts game content, does anyone know how? Like Samurai Spirits 2, with blood and fatalities. Are they turned off for European mode?
Sorry for the questions. I'm just really excited that I'm going to own a Neo Geo again, and I don't want to make a stupid mistake.
