Hey jeff i was going to preform a stereo mod on my neo geo but i have, i guess its a stupid question. On the audio jacks themselfs ,what is considered the ground? The inside of the jack or the outside of the jack.
Thanks

The outside area is the GROUND. The inner, middle post is the positive or the sound signal.

!Arcade!shows how to mod and refers to using a ground off a chip. I just grounded it to the metal shield case. its easier and less risky than soldering to any chips.

err, yeah.... or use the ground pin on the video out socket - closest

If you don't know which pin is left and right, check out the connector hardware guide - only way i know of getting to it is through www.gamesx.com

You should be able to make connections just past the capacitors
