Hi! I just got PI2 today and already have problem. First time when I powered up the game I got demoscene musics etc. everything looked good. After that I started the game and didnt get any sounds or bgm. Tried booting the game and inserted cassete again but no sound. I tried other MVS game and sounds workd fine so theres no prob. with my MOBO.

:D now I got sounds randomly working but not the ones the ones that supposed be. Neogeo logo sound when stage started etc... weird shit and silence. but heres the cart opened.

click to open bigger picture. isnt the V rom wheres the soundbank is normally in MVS games?

What have we here when the cart is opened. One ugly looking bootleg :vik: Well any other ideas? I just want to play this game.
(just played the game through and didnt have no other problems)
And theres this other weird issue. When I start the game I makes noise (I see it from the amplifiers screen) but I dont hear anything

Can you take pics of both boards? They look interesting.

I will take more pictures later today. Its little hard to take good pics the carts are stapled together (but I try my best). But have to say pretty interesting looking chips and board. First bootleg that I have ever bought and I get this piece of shit. I was going to buy soon multicart MVS but this gives me second thoughts.

the one labeled "V-rom".

some shitty soldering going on in that chip, better take some pics before messing in that area.

That is actually some kind of glue, theres no soldering on that chip .
