Hi guys,

I got a Turtles in time pcb for $20 on ebay. missing couple chips. below are pictures of where the chips are missing, and another picture will show what chip I believe is supposed to be there. the chip has "MB8416A-15L-SK" and "9125 KT33" below it. the sockets for these chips are different and have round holes for the pins.

if anybody knows what this chip is and where I can get it please let me know.

I also have a broken chip pictured below with "22281A" on it.

The broken chip is the sound ROM. It can be replaced with a freshly burned EPROM.

The two empty sockets are ram, you can replace them with two CY7C128. The broken component is a inline resistor pack, I can't see because the picture is blurred but it looks like 220 ohm. The other chip is part of the sound rom

I'm pretty sure there are also broken traces as well. If you can't fix it then you might want to ship it to someone who can as that PCB isn't chea when it's working so the fix would be worth it.

ya first thing I did was pm channelmaniac but haven't heard back from him, thinking he's busy.

so looking into possibly fixing it myself. but if there is indeed broken traces, that goes beyond my knowledge of repair.

anybody else on this board do repairs I can send it to?

If fixing traces are beyond your ability then everything wrong with the board is beyond your ability.

I managed to fix my original TMNT board by cleaning the pins of the sound roms and re seating them back into the socket.

I also fixed a capacitor, and installed new capacitors in a Combatribes pcb. so I know a little, but yes this Turtles in Time needs some real attention. I definately want to send it out to somebody, it's worth it.
