Anybody play this? I'm about 3 hours in, and I'm enjoying it. Reminds me alot of Skies of Arcadia with ship battles.

This is a title I was interested in picking up. Your comparison to Skies of Arcadia's ship battles alone will probably force me to get it now!

Never thought I'd post this but please post more about it GregN.:mr_t:

-It's very old-school 16 bit era feel to it
-Pretty easy, bosses and dungeons are a pushover
-Shows the order of your party and enemies in fights with small hand-drawn face portraits stacked up
-some of the ship battles can be very challenging.
-Music is so so
-Uses real world cities, takes place in the 1900s
-Has party talk, which fleshes out the story pretty well and when you don't know what to do next
-Skill system is nice - your pt shares a common pool of points earned after every battle which can lead to more and stronger skills
-It's been compared to FFX in terms of gameplay (I've never played FFX, so I can't say)

Have no fears ratson! I picked it up early and if you like Skies of Arcadia you should like this:buttrock:

It has an old-school feel with modern graphics.

I just got my wizard Melody so I'm still very early in the game.

I'd say it has PS1/N64ish graphics. Good to know you're enjoying it.

I think the ship battles in the upper altitudes get ridiculous though.

It's a pretty easy game overall. Melody died only once so far and now I'm searching the Amazon for El Dorado.

I've not had too much trouble with the air battles.

I like all the sub quests as it makes level grinding less tedious.

The games not ground-breaking but everything is well done IMO.

Just beat it.

-Short, but that's what I liked about it.
-Most of the game is pretty easy, but some of the boss battles and ship battles at higher altitudes toward the end were ridiculous.
