Hi, I'm interested in building a replica of the MVS control panel because its one of the best that I have played on. I wanted to ask an MVS cabinet owner if he could please tell me the width of the joystick hole in the control panel because thats the width of the hole I want to drill into the wood im going to be using to mount the joystick. Thanks for your time.

I'm sorry to bother again, but if it's not too much trouble, could I also have information about the thickness of the control panel and if the joystick was recessed into the wood or not. Thank you.

IF you want my advice, try to email the guy neogeoman on ebay, he is a japanese seller.
He had a complete sega Astrocity panel, for 100Usd if i remember well.

That panel is as good as the neo geo one, or maybe better :)

Button holes should be 1-1/8"
Joystick holes can be that or 1-1/4"
For my controls I used 3/4" MDF boards
