What up. I'm new to the forums and arcade collecting as a whole. So hopefully somebody can shed some light on my noobness.

I just got a Ms. Pac-Man arcade that I'm going to restore, but I'm not sure how to discharge the monitor. I have other cabs, but the monitors are different. I can't seem to find the anode. I'm not sure if these monitors even have them...

I'd hate to get shocked for being a retard and just sticking my hands behind the monitor and grabbing stuff. :spock:

...the monitor is an electrohome G07

Great link. Thanks :). Unfortunately my monitor is way different. So that tutorial isn't doing me much good. It's okay though. I went ahead and stuck my hand in there and started yanking stuff around, and I managed to get the board out. I guess the next step is to finish stripping it down then bondo and sand it.

The real problem is going to be when it comes time to put all that stuff back together. Since I don't know what the hell is going on back there.

GO7 is a common monitor and shouldn't look much different than any other monitor. It will be turned sideways though since it is a vertical game.

The forums at klov.com are better for info about classic game restorations. Especially tech-wise.

The anode cap is on the left side of the monitor if looking at it from the back.

Thanks. I was actually able to figure it out. I've already stripped the cabinet down.
