hello guys,
i just received an aes system, working perfectly, exept controller 1 port "d" button problem.

the d button is always "on" like if i stay pushed on it.

so with the unibios, at splash screen, when i push a b and c for change the region, i'm on the memory card manager.
during play, d button is not working.

when i go to the menu during playing a game, screen freeze, like again, i stay pushed on the d button.

anyone know what is wrong?

thanks by advance!

Sounds like a short on the controller port. Open it up and take a look.

Does it act the same way if you unplug the controller or try another one? Shorted buttons inside the controller itself do happen sometimes.

i opened the system and no short inside , the problem is the same with 3 differents controller,
i can see on each controller port 15 green components, like a small capacitor or something, on each pins from the controller , is this possible to have a defect one? i will try today to replace the one from pin 4 and test again, pin 9 is also for d button but i think only the pin 4 is working?

finally found the problem.

near controller port, there is a lot of red coupled resistors.
d button pass trough middle one, i checked the values and one was bad, i replaced this component by the same from a dead mvs board,

and the problem was solved!

hope this can help someone in the future.
