I'm getting my Neo Candy 29 ready for some vertical shooter love, but I think I ran into an issue. The degauss plug on the monitor is not the same as the degauss input on the power supply. I have 2 questions about this. Does the monitor degauss automatically when turned on after a cool down period? If not, is there an adapter that allows me to plug the 4 slot degauss from the monitor onto the 2 slot input on the power supply?

Nevermind. I received my first vertical shooter (Gunbird) today and rotated the monitor. I started it after a couple of hours and it looks like it does degauss upon fire up. Colors look great but there are geometry issues. It picture is tilted and a slight pincushion effect on the bottom part of the screen. I may need a cap kit...

Sounds more like you knocked the yoke.

Actually I was just reminded that this was the same problem when it was set horizontal. I looked up some instructions on adjusting the yoke tilt but I don't think I wanna go back there and mess with that. Maybe I'll just take it to the arcade repair before I kill myself.

It's not that hard.

What I do is wear 2 pairs of dishwashing gloves. Not sure this is the best method, but I adjust it while it's on and never had issues. Your hands will sweat like hell, so be careful. You have to take the whole monitor out of the cab to do it though. Well worth it in the end.

What exactly should I be turning? I'm assuming I don't just twist the circuit board to the rear of the monitor, correct? I'm gonna pull the monitor out in a bit and snap some pictures.
