I am considering buying a jap AES system and I would like to know something about video output:

-Can you use a (EUR)SCART RGB lead with an AES system?. I'm using a NTSC compatible Sony TV with it.

Yes you can.

But perhaps the newest NTSC models does not support RGB. Strange but true. So if you get one of these, even if you want to plug your EURO-AV Scart lead, you will have no picture. You'll have to continue using the RCA's composite cables.

Seems that only the last 2 models doesn't support it.

the last one doesn't for sure.

Just go for it. You can still use a composite SCART lead, although the picture wouldn't be quite as good. You can still have it S-VID modded ;)

I'm just curious: why do you want your Neo to be Jap? I think it would be easier to have a PAL one, you can modify it to output 60 Hz. I'm not AES expert, but that is more or less what I did with my Neo Geo CD.
