I know the speaker thing has been discussed. I searched it and really didn't come away with good answers.
My cab's speakers are functioning fine. There is no reason to replace them... in terms of them being blown or anything.
That being said, they sound like dogshit. They have thin, tinny sound and they really can't handle the nice Cave soundtracks that I'm playing now.
So basically I don't HAVE to replace them but if I can find some with a decent audible improvement then I will. I also notice that with most PCBs the sound is so loud that I have to back the volume on the board almost down to zero. So I've got plenty of headroom if they are 4 ohm speakers.
Thanks for any input.
