I'm glad I held off on buying Holy Invasion of Privacy, Badman, since it's really cheap this week only.

Apparently the whole NIS PSP catalog is, too, including Prinny, Disgaea, etc. Prices range from $5 to $10.

PSN store... Or so I was told. I haven't actually logged on there yet to check. It's up on all the news sites though.

I read on: http://www.1up.com/boards/posts/list/44308.page

that some of the reported prices are wrong :(

14.99 for Disgaea, Dragoneer's and Mana Khemia. I was planning to buy all 3 of they were 9.99 or under :(

Yeah, seems you're right.

Prinny and Badman were ten bucks apiece though, so I bought 'em both.

I wonder though. The price reduction wasn't advertised, so maybe it's permanent. I hope so. One of the big concerns about DL games for me was how the prices always stayed the same, no matter how old the game was. Prices should naturally come down over time, that's just good business — let's hope it's the case here. I mean, I'm sure not a lot of people bought Badman at $20, but at $10, I bet a lot more will. Assuming they know about it that is.

Yeah I agree, this sale was on of the reasons I bought the go. I figured it was a sign of things to come. I hope more companies do this type of thing. I don't mind paying 30-40 for a new release but I hope they don't keep those prices for a full year.

Does anyone know if I download one of these NIS games while it's on sale to my old PSP, then down the road if I buy a Go, will I be able to somehow transfer the downloaded game to the go? I'm guessing no, not without buying it again, but maybe? is it like XBLA when you buy the license you can download it again?

I'm far from certain about it, but as far as I know, as long as you have your account intact, you can re-DL games as much as you want wherever you want.

I have a PSP and a PS3, so typically, I DL a PSP game on my PS3, then copy it over later when it's convenient (DLs seem to go a lot faster on my PS3). Sometimes, though, I get a bit lazy, and just DL it again on the PSP. I did this just the other day for Holy Invasion of Privacy Badman and Prinny. I used the same account for both, obviously, and as far as I know you can log that account into multiple consoles, be they PS3s or PSPs.

Now, whether you can do the same with the Go... I don't know. I would assume so though.

DSi downloads, on the other hand, are entirely tied to the console. If you replace it for any reason, you have to pay for everything all over again. Perhaps you had the two confused?

Ah ok, I haven't actually ever bought a dl game for psp, so wasn't sure how it worked. I forgot that you could dl to PS3 then send it to the PSP. so yeah, it would make sense that I'd be able to dl it again to the go later. I'm glad they were at least smart about that.
I'd like to get that Prinny game...I rented it through gamefly and liked it, but haven't been able to find it locally so was contemplating buying it while it's on sale, that convinced me to go ahead with it. thanks!
