CD Controller Woes

I currently have 4 Neo Geo CD controllers, but only 1 that works. The other three seems to have direction problems ie. Dont work in particular directions. When pressing in the particular direction that does not work, i still hear the click, but no movement.

Does anyone know why this is, and if it is common in these controllers.

Yeah, it's quite common as those pads break very easily. Try this:
