Hello gentlemen!

I recently purchased 2 cabs, and will be replacing, at least for now, one set of sticks/ and buttons.

Happ is most likely what I will install as they are the sticks/buttons originally used in the cab from what I have read, and I believe in keeping things relatively stock.

I have been on TheRealBobRoberts web site and their seems to be different ones. Here is a cut and paste:

Happ Ultimate Joys 8-way Blue/Yellow/Red /Black/Green $9.00
Happ Competition Joys Blue/Yellow/Red /Black/Green $11.00
Happ Super Joysticks Black $12.00

What is the difference? I may have a set of these already, please check with the photo provided, and inform me which one/style I may have?

I have noticed a couple of the newer buttons on my cabs are fairly stiff! Is there a brake in time for them, or are their different types of springs you can order to make them have a little less resistance?

Is Bob Roberts, the best (cheapest) store to purchase from?

Thank you all, very much for your time! :D

Her's my humble opinion.

Happ Ultimate...not very good...never seem to feel right...feels cheap.
Happ Competition...great Choice...good for fighters. Seem to have a more sturdy feel v.s. the Happ Ultimate.
Happ Super...great for Pacman and older arcade games...never liked them for Neo Geo.

Happ Competition buttons are great...have a quick response...similar to Japanese Arcade Buttons. Competitions buttons are not like the moon crater buttons. At least thats what I like to call them.

Bobroberts prices are fair...but you can get Happ Stuff anywhere now...I used to get mine from Ebay. (Tornado terry)
And Bob Roberts is all business and will never mess with you...he is an upfront, no nonsense seller. Top Notch.

I would have to say I prefer the Happ Perfect 360 sticks for fighting games. Don't know if I've ever seen them in a 4 slot cabinet, but when they run KOF in the showcases, the 360's are great. They're a bit more expensive, but since you'll be playing them for a long time (I imagine) I'd think they'd be worth it.

All the Happ stick tops look similar. Open your control panel up and take a pic of the bottom of the sticks, easy to tell them apart that way. Comp's have the square white actuator and supers have the "leaf switch style" metal actuators. I forget about the Ultimates.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...but I think Ultimate and Comp sticks have a minor texture (Hard Plastic) and over time the supers get smooth and shiny.

Here they are, and if you need different angles, just let me know!
The first pic is from the cab on the right, and the second the left!

Thanks!

Those are HAPP with the short spacers in them, which is why the sticks appear short on the CP. I'd go with the HAPP competition sticks.

Sticks look like ultimates...

Also, you might as well replace all the vertical switch buttons, those are the ones that feel tighter?

Tornado Terry sells complete sets for Neo ( if I remember right ). He's who I usually get my buttons from.
