Neo Candy 29 wired for Jamma???

So I just purchased a Neo Candy 29. I installed a 4 slot MVS and fired it up. It works! The only problem is that I'm getting mono sound. The sound seems to come primarily from the left speaker but I do hear soft sounds on the right.
This is the first time I've ever connected a 4 slot neo geo to a cabinet, so I don't know. Should there be a separate connector for the right speaker? I checked all over the board, but did not find any obvious looking connectors except for the prongs near the headphone volume slider.
I can add pictures later but I figure I'm just being stupid and someone will simply know what I'm doing wrong here. I get the feeling that the cabinet had been converted for Jamma use and maybe a connector had been removed.
Thanks for all your help.

Edit: one more bit of info that may be of use. Using the cabinet buttons, I cannot access the test menu either. Something's wrong here...

Best way to reconfigure it is to pop the top and move the speaker connections around....

Woah, but it saying I can damage my audio amp if I use it this way. So I guess I would need the neo geo to Jamma...
Not a problem tho. I was going to wire my Aero city for jamma anyway and the cabinet harness is only like 10 bux.
Would I also need the MVS to J1 stereo harness as well?

I got it all plugged in today using the JAMMA to MVS converter and it works perfect! Sound is in stereo, test button brings up test menu, it's perfect. Thanks for all your help, guys!
