I'm hoping someone here can give me a hand with this.
I'm starting the cosmetic work on my cab, and I've got an oddball part that I'd like to get a replacement for:
It's a aluminum frame that goes on the back of the control panel and actually rests against the monitor bezel/plexi. It was originally black, but I've sanded the many layers of paint off to get the graffiti off of it. This one will work, but ideally, I would like one that's the extra little bit wider so that it goes edge to edge on my CP.
Current one is 21-3/4" wide, I need one that is 23-3/8" wide (or wider, as I can always cut it to size). Not picky on the color, but good shape black, or down to the metal would be preferred. Problem is, I don't even know where to start in looking for something like this. Push comes to shove, I suppose I could weld on the extra bit of metal to the sides and grind down, but oy, that's a lot of work.
If anyone knows where the heck I might find one of these, or perhaps has one they'd part with for a reasonable price, it'd be appreciated.
