Hi,
I'm a new MVS user and was wondering what the best way to store an MVS cart was? I don't have any of those plastic storage cases because they seem to be hard to come by. Does anybody have a suggestion for an alternative storage method or maybe you could tell me where to find those MVS plastic cases. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!!

I suggest Shock Boxes. They are plastic video rental type boxes specifically designed for MVS carts. If you buy more than 10 they are like $5 apiece.

You can find them here: <a href="http://www.netreach.net/~scop/" target="_blank">http://www.netreach.net/~scop/</a>

You'll have to email Big Bear (who runs around on these forums) for a price quote and he'll send you what you need.

These are, hands down, the best things for MVS storage. You can also download premade inserts for some games, or better yet, make your own.

The shock box is one of the greatest add ons for the MVS gamer, if you have lots of MVS games you need shock boxes.

I really wanted to get the shock boxes, but I couldnt convince myself to spend a lot on the boxes. I went a cheaper route.

$70 shipped on 100 Mailing Boxes that are just about the size of the originals. It closes a bit differently, but it works great! It was a pain to fold them all though...

That box setup looks awesome. Would you mind sharing where you got them/what dimensions they are? Do they fit the carts well?
Thanks.

Thanks guys. Let me search through my emails and find all the info about the boxes. I dont remember right off. It fits the carts pretty well. Fits snugly with bubble wrap in it.

edit:

you can get these at:

<a href="http://www.corrugatedboxes.com/white.htm" target="_blank">http://www.corrugatedboxes.com/white.htm</a>

8" x 6 1/2" x 2"

Minimum order is one bundle (50 boxes), which is about $26. I bought 2 and it cost $68.29 shipped! Not a bad deal at all.

This was the best size I could find after a few weeks of searching for a suitable replacment.

Thank you, but I really dont like that kind of thing. I really didnt want to post this, but I thought this might be something that some people here could use. It took me a while to find decent cheap replacement boxes, so I thought I would share.

What Turf means to say is:

"All those boxes are empty, so if I posted them on the collections page I would be perpetuating the lie that is my existence. Oh and also I will be sending RevQ the Chibi an Minnasan carts that I stole from him"

Rev, you know me better then I know myself. I sent out Chibi and Minnasan weeks ago. I would have thought you would have received them by now. :p
