HELP! What am i doing wrong?

I have a jamma one slot neogeo conversion machine. I just recieved captian comando but when I install the board, the video has vertical red lines across the screen. I tried to cleaning the pins and made sure my dips settings on the board was correct, but I can not get the lines to disappear. WTF. Any help would be much appreciated. try it with another game. I got an art of fighting that did that, and I had to clean it three times to get it to go away. the final cleaning used a draftsman electric eraser and I had to take the cart apart. Then clean it again with q-tips to get the eraser off!

sometimes they need a DEEP cleaning and that's all.

If you know me, you've heard this before. NO ERASERS!!!!!

They leave shit all over the board, not to mention making it dirtier with the rubber compound they're made of.

Use contact cleaner. Non-lubricating, i.e. NOT pot cleaner. DEFINATELY NOT WD40!!!!!

Find it at radio shack, mcm, maplin, rs......

I cleaned the conectors and checked for old/bad sodering connections but i am still getting the vertical red lines across my moniter. Do I have a bad board. Is it broke. Are there any companies that I can send my board to for some repaires; located on the west coast ( Nevada or California area)? Help!
