Agree! the bestest soccer games is definitely Winning Eleven series (Goal Storm-ISS in Europe), unsurpassed gameplay!
Have you seen the newest "Winning Eleven: World Football" for PS2? the graphic is amazing! although the gameplay isn't as good as PS1 version... and I think Konami has got the FIFA license now (they have all the real names), I hope they would release the world club version (Serie A + Premiership + La Liga.... etc)

Hey Pedu, yeah, Konami got a FIFAPro licence for (some) of the official names. This is a really cheeky way of getting around the exclusive deal EA have with FIFA. Hah! Nice one Konami.
I've seen the PS2 version, which is GREAT stuff. I think here in Europe we get a new addition with the Premiership, Serie A and all those. But I'm not too sure about the rest of the world. Do you US guys have it yet?

Really. I don't remember when exactly I got my Soccer Brawl cart, but I remember I got really tired of it, quickly, because you could trick the CPU with simple patterns. Never played Soccer Brawl with other people, is it a good 2P game?
Also, NeoCup '98 was good, but it just seemed like another Sidekicks game, probably because it was.

Right, Soccer Brawl tends to be kinda one dimensional in single player mode, but it shines in 2P.
It's great fun to (ab)use the "Masters" and their super shots, and once you've learned how to rapidly pass the ball over the field and nail it into the goal by tricking out the goalies (who are quite good) you simply can't put the game down for long.
Uhm, yes, SB is no *real* soccer game, but IMO it's the best Speed Ball version available. That's why I love it so much.
