I just put one on my 360 HRAP and it is awesome. Its like the best of both worlds, you get the sensitivity of a Sanwa stick with the grip of a Happ stick.

HRAP's use Happ sticks? I thought it was sanwa.

I'd like to get some Bat top's for my incoming new astro. Damn you people and always getting me to spend more money.

It is a Sanwa stick, I just replaced the bat top with a ball top.

I've got a blue Sanwa bat-top here, its cool, but I never really got into it, I prefer both the P360 and a JLF with a ball top to it.

If you like the bat top on the JLF though, you may want to try it out on a Seimitsu LS-32 series stick. Seimitsu makes a round restrictor plate for the 32s that would help get closer to the HAPP feeling. Sanwa also makes a round restrictor for their JLW line, but I haven't had a chance to mess with those sticks myself.

Of course my fave will always be the happ P360. If you like the feeling of the Sanwa being easier to tap, you might want to try one with a softer spring. I just scored a P360 MAS on craigslist a week or two ago, the spring is def softer than in the cades and the thing plays like buttah. Too bad its near impossible to get it to fit in most commercial cases.

How are LS32's for fighters? I'm getting annoyed with JLF's pretty much, as someone said on another forum they are like a loose box of springs, .. or something :emb:

I have LS32's in my neo candy and I prefer them way over the JLF's in my egret 2, they are a bit stiffer and have extremely clickey positive microswitches. All the fighters I've played with them have a much more confident positive feel.

I for one prefer them just slightly. Lots of people say the JLF is more sensitive, but the 32's feel like they've got a smaller dead space, probably due to the thicker shaft. Minor things, but they sound a little different too, I think because of the metal contacts. If you're changing out a JLF for a 32-01 in a console stick, its adds a (very) little to the overall weight. Its really all feeling, I don't think either benefits or hinders my gameplay more than the other.

However, on the rare occasion that I can get them mounted at a height I'm happy with, the LS-56-01 is my absolute favorite. Its more compact like the JLF, but it seems stiffer, and I feel its a little more precise than JLF or LS32.

...all this ball and shaft talk :emb:

If you have them, why don't you try them out instead of asking people on the internet?

in my opinion they are way better for neo games

I plan on putting some in the egret for street fighter as soon as I am ready to order some other things

I really look forward to trying them on CPS2 fighters

I rock a batt top right now, and love the thing. I really want to try out a Seimitsu 56 stick though, because I heard they have super short throw and a tight spring.
