Hi...
One of my Japanese AES is not booting anymore...
Nothing...
It's not coming from the AC adaptor since it works with my other Japanese AES...

Anyone has had this problem already?? I love my AES and I would hate seing it broken :(

It should at least give a flicker of some kind on the TV screen. If not, you might have a broken power jack or bad regulator circuit in it.

Nothing, it's not even flickering...
I used it 2 weeks ago, then I put it back in it's box... I took it to play 20 minutes ago and then I saw it wasnt working anymore

Do you know how I could repair it and where are those parts?
The voltage regulator is the 3 pin blue connector near the on/off switch right? The power jack SEEMS fine...

Post pics of the board so I can see which one you have.

Also, do you have a voltmeter? It would be very helpful to know if you do have voltage at the chips but no video out. If that's the case then check the clock crystal circuit... or if your board has the little daughtercard on it you might have a broken wire connecting it to the main board.

Does it at least make the pop sound when turning the system on?
