I haven't seen a thread on Neo-Geo.com for a long long time regarding artbooks and graphic collections for SNK or King of Fighters.

They just released a new King of Fighters book:

That image reminds me of how much I used to dislike Shinkiro as an artist but how much I like him now and how far he's come along.

There's nothing wrong with that image you posted. I just never really liked his style back then. He seemed to only be able to draw characters in either profile or full faial view. And his anatomy wasn't that great back then.

But now he's really mastered his techniques and gotten so much better.

I would love to see him do some more casual work like this with all the skills he's developed since '95. But Capcom probably has him too busy drawing more dynamic fare these days, and I'm sure he doesn't have the time.

Yuki looks like Lisa Bonet. Shinkiro was definitely a strange artist.

I guess I'm a strange person, but I really enjoy Nona's art the most.

I enjoyed Falcoon's KOF fanart as well, but when he officially joined the company...eech.
