I need some input on this, thanks. I recently sold my copy on eBay. And the buyer e-mailed me saying that he gets "error" everytime he plays for a minute. This is the actual part of an e-mail:

EVERYTIME I play it, it only takes about a minute untill this
screen comes up saying error, and the game freezes. Nothing I can do from that
point except shut it off. ALL the other games I have work fine, so it's not my
system. I have no choice but to send this back to you and get a refund.

It is a bootleg, but I really had no problem w/ it. Infact, I only got like maybe one or two error sign during gameplay--and I played the game alot. I attributed that to the incorrect positioning of the MVS cart to the slot & or a converter, because when I would shuffle the cart, it would work fine (I use the Arcades converter). I own alot of MVS carts, and I get that several times w/ other games, esp when the slots are so tight, and you don't insert it correctly. I esp get an error playing Metal Slug X--and it's a legit copy. I told him that I can give a refund, but since I didn't have a problem w/ the cart before, I told him to wait and try again. Infact, Idon't even know which kind of medium he's playing in. It may have to do w/ incorrect positioning of the cart, the contact being dirty, or even a diff board?

Any suggestion why it would freeze now?

Well some of the games are touchy in multiple slot boards (Prehistoric Isle 2 is a BIG one). If they use a single slot the cart will never have a problem. Anyway on with helping you out. The voltage is a HUGE factor. If its off from the 5 volts the cart will screw up. I had simular problems with the Dodgeball, & Bust A Move Again.

Checklist:

1) Put the game in by itself see if it works. If not adjust voltage.

2) If it does work fine, then add a cart one at a time. Another game may be causing a conflict with it.

Example: My prehistoric Isle 2 causes some other games in my 6 slot to loose sound! Drove me nuts!

Hope that helps avoiding a return.

PS - Also just try cleaning it.
