Buttons working inconsistantly

I recently moved. Pre-move, my 1-slot cab was working just fine. Now the joysticks and buttons aren't working reliably. The problem seems to get better the longer I play with it. Example: By round 3 on SamSho2 they are almost working right, but when I first start playing, barely anything works. Any thoughts? Everything looks solidly connected, it doesn't look like anything came loose in the move.

You could try cleaning the edge connector but have you looked in the hardware test and tested the button inputs there? See if they are responsive or not with that. Might also want to check to make sure you didn't bump a common loose.

I didn't think of the hardware test. Thanks.

The problem seems to be having more than one down at a time. Every button registers individually, but if I try and press more than one down at a time, they start registering on and off or not at all.

Sounds likea common issue. When building sticks and testing them temporarily (with the wiring not fully secured, etc) you can sometimes get the same thing happening because you are shorting things out.
I would check in the hardware test, but also check your common runs and make sure nothign it shorting out. I had some weird things happening a while with my cab after doing some work inside and ended up just rewiring all the buttons and solved my issues. Kind of overkill, avoiding any troubleshooting by just redoing things, but meh.

Take out the buttons and wash and dry them and but them back in. Thats what I did for mine and it worked fine.
