Ya that is something that many of us have seen already but it is a very cool idea and a lot of the newbies will get a kick out of it.

Being a big fan of the PC-Engine LT (I currently own one), this is really cool. I imagine that some things (such as text) would be a little hard to read. The Neo Geo wasn't really designed to be on such a small screen...but, I bet the resolution is incredible. Very cool regardless. Thanks for showing us that.

I remember these pictures... a nice piece of hardware! However, it does sound a bit unpractical.

Maybe they could do some sort of portable CD unit for the Neo Geo CD system, similar to the PS One? That may be more feasable...

BTW, Jon... how much did you pay for your PC-Engine LT? I had two opportunities back in 1996 to get one, and never did for they were too expensive. But still remains one system I wish I owned.

I think it would be cool just to have the cabinet without the LCD screen and just hook the system up to your TV.

Ok, Vinylboy, before you freak out as to how much I paid for my PC-Engine LT, let me say that I bought it last year BEFORE the stock market went down.

Anyway, I purchased it from my good friend Chris Barker (Superfami.com on E-Bay) for $1,200. Now, that's not ALL it came with. I came with the IFU-30 Breifcase CD-ROM unit, and 3.0 card. Basically what I had was a PC-Engine LT DUO. Meaning, it could play all US and Japanese CD's and Super CD's, as well as all Japanese Hucards.

I've seen an LT sold like I have it ONCE on E-Bay. Ever since I saw it, I always wanted it. The going price on it was $1,500 at the time. Late last year, my dream came true when it arrived at my home via EMS express mail. Dracula X, Exile 2, Dungeon Explorer 2...all look absolutely incredible on the LT's four inch LCD screen. Incredible resolution...way better than most TV's. If anyone is interested, it's for sale for $1000 as I described it above. All inquiries can be addressed to my email address below.

If anyone is interested, I may soon be making something similar - probably with a bigger (laptop-sized) screen. May also go for something like Yagyu suggested.

Oh and VinylBoy, I can get you a normal PC Engine LT, unboxed, for around $900 - so $1000 is a good buy!

True, true--I've seen it! God knows there are folks in my backyard who can make killer robots out of household appliances...
