Hey Guys.

So the monitor in my Battletoads cab seems to need a cap replacement. Here is a video of whats going on:

Anyway, if I do in fact need a cap replacement, the biggest problem is the fact that I don't know what type of monitor it is and haven't found much information online, and because I've never done a cap replacement before I'm not sure what type of cap kit I need. Here are some pictures of the monitor (more specific ones can be taken on request if needed):

If anybody can possibly let me know what type of monitor this is or even suggest a Cap Kit to use and where to buy it, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks to all who reply.

Well that looks like a Wells-Gardner K7000 series chassis to me. Have you tried adjusting the vertical hold?

No I haven't actually. Could that be the problem? It looked a bit too intense to me to be causing it, but I'll take a look.

Ok I feel like an idiot. It was the vertical hold. A slight adjustment and the picture is great. However, if anybody could confirm Jaelus on the idea that it is a Wells-Gardner K7000 series chassis I would appreciate that as well. The monitor will be 21 years old next month so it is bound to need a cap replacement sometime in the future and I figure the more information I gather about it now the less I will have to when it needs the cap kit, so anything anybody can tell me about this particular monitor would be helpful.

Thanks.
