mvs monitor problems

I recently moved house and when setting up my sit down cab found that the monitor is not displaying the full RGB signal, sometimes its just red, othertimes there has been red and blue but no green, any ideas on an easy solution to my problem? is it BER or easy to fix? I have double checked the wiring on the rgb at all connecting points and i can say it definitely isn't this, please help
