Not NEO GEO related, but I need help.

Ok, so awhile back I purchased a Revolution X cabinet from a guy off ebay for $75. The cab is the 3 player version. 33" monitor that works, all 3 guns (supposedly all work) the gun I/O board that I've not been able to test, and the sound as the same. No actual game PCB. I've used the cab to test a few Jamma boards I've gotten since then.

I have coming to me a Terminator 2 PCB that I'd like to stick in the cab to play for the time being. Upon some looking around I found .pdf versions of both manuals (the Rev X is for a 2 player cab). Comparing the two with the different plug ins, I noticed all boards are different. So I guess my question is, can I use the Terminator 2 PCB with the Rev X sound and gun board?

If T2 uses a positional gun setup then it should work. It's basically just 2 pots per gun.

Yea, but my main concern is all the connections for the boards.

Just find the pinouts and make adapters.

Well nevermind all....got the board in today and hooked up just to the video to see if the board worked....and it's dead. So it'll be awhile before i can tinker with it and see whats wrong.

Got the board running already. When in doubt pull roms. One of the roms was loose and just practically fell off. Put it in the socket nice n snug and it worked fine.

So back to the original question above, or does anyone have a T2 sound board and gun I/O board they're willing to part with? I have five cats available for trade.

Can't help with the parts your looking for but the T2 guns definitely are old positional jobs that use pots to determine the position. So you should be able to make adapters like Xian Xi suggested. Or have someone make them for you.
