Yep, boot. No SNK boards, no SNK chips, SMT ROM chips.

Couldn't be more boot if there was a size 10 wide in there.

As a rule of thumb EPROMs are never ever sanded down unless somebody is trying to hide something. I can't imagine you'd ever find them in a legit cart.

You know besides all those other tells :)

There isn't a single EPROM on that cart. Not all programmable chips are EPROMs.

There certainly are no EEPROMs, but aren't some of those EPROMs? Semantics maybe? Whatever your ROMs they had to be electronically programmed at some point.

Those are likely flash chips, which are technically EEPROMS.

I gotcha.

When I see EEPROM I think 'Erasable Electrically Programmable Read Only Memory' when it is much more commonly 'Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory'. Which those guys probably are.

Same idea when I see EPROM I think 'Electrically Programmable Read Only Memory' which is redundant really and why folks generally use it to refer to 'Erasable Programable Read Only Memory'. By which they are generally referring to UV-EPROMs.

Despite my funky dialog just take away what I said about sanding down chips being used to hide something and not normally a practice found in legit items. :)
