Here's my post from the dingoo thread not that long ago, I've since sold it, I only use real deal stuff now, no emulation.
got one of these a couple months ago.
Heres what I think:
The system itself is kind of awkward, its not super comfortable to hold for long periods of time.
The buttons and whatnot seem to work pretty well as far as im concered, the build quality is actually a bit nicer then one would think.
The speakers are pretty dinky, and another annoying feature is having to go through the menus to shut off the speaker if you wanted to use it for mp3 then switch over to a game.
The UI is pretty much a psp ripoff.
Now onto what people really want to know!!
EMULATION!!!!
Ok Ill do it system by system
Nes: Runs perfectly, but then again if it didn't it would be a piece of trash
Snes: Runs pretty good from what ive used. Although games with the super graphics chip in them (EX: starfox or megaman X2 or X3) do not work. Earthbound (the main thing i was playing untill i decided to bust out all my old systems so now im playing it on the snes) runs great!
Genesis (Megadrive...whatever) Although people dont really complain about this, i will. The main thing that sucks about it is the picture quality, its really buggy and theres always like lines, and distortion running through the pictures. Probably the worst emulator.
GBA: Works pretty damn well...but then again not surprising
Capcom arcade boards CPS1 and CPS 2: Well I cant get CPS2 working, but CPS 1 works great, i played some knights of the round and dragon master or whatever and megaman power fighters!!!
Overall if your really into emulation and want to take it on the go, i say go for it. Its not too much money, and its incredibly easy to use. The only complaint i have is the terrible picture quality during genesis games.
