I second MMP :) The game most likely to never come to the US. But heck its a sweet looking piece. How often will you get to play with pig chicks?

This poll is for possible XBLA releases, so it's very likely that whatever game(s) they port will be available globally.

Esprade, Progear, and Guwange are the ones most likely to get selected.

Aren't there licensing issues with every single one of those games? Progear doubly so.

Indeed there are, but I think the fact that those 3 are far more popular than either MMP or Pink Sweets among Cave's target audience offsets those issues, especially if MS helps them straighten things out. All things considered, I think Esprade is the one that is most likely to get selected.

Well, they did release the esprade/guwange cd last year, so I guess (hope) its possible.

The name of the game though is DoDonPachi Die Fuck You. Believe that.

Was gonna say didn't they hate pro-gear for some reason? Well it did have a cellphone release and it is a hori, but frankly its not my favorite title.

MMP is more likely a retail release than XBLA but a dreamer can dream.

It's true that Progear (and even Guwange) aren't as popular as most of Cave's other games, but from what I've seen, MMP and Pink Sweets are even less popular.

I'm sure MMP and Pink Sweets will get retail releases at some point, but that won't be for quite some time. Cave still has to release Mushi Futari, followed by Galuda 2, followed by Deathsmiles 2, most likely followed by DDPDFK, before those two are considered.

Yeah, this appears to only apply towards potential XBLA releases. Bummer, any interest I had towards this has completely wained.

Though I do wonder how much random mail they are going to end up receiving requesting games thanks to the "helpful" US gaming blogs. :)

Maybe something better will come out of the roundtable they are accepting submissions for.

Well at least we have a release date for Futari and a season for Galuda II. Maybe since Deathsmiles was pretty well received Cave will be inclined to try and release games sooner rather than later.

Personally I'm pretty happy with the line up so far so can't complain too much.

while deathsmiles was enjoyable partly due to the graphics, deathsmiles 2 uses 3d and is just ugly from what i've seen. But I'll likely get it anyway.

For some reason I thought galuda2 was a xbla game, but now i'm thinking that was just a rumor. Futari has been in the top 2 on the wishlist for 7 or so months so I can't complain.

Futrai will come out as its by far their best & popular game with Daifukatsu.

I`m just happy that they canceled Ketsui, so my Kit keeps it worth:D:D

Ketsui hasn't been cancelled. Cave have taken back the distribution rights to it from 5pb. The 360 port is still in development, and in fact, Cave looked over the recent build and sent 5pb a list of items to fix. Cave are still undecided about granting the license back to 5pb. The quality of the final version will no doubt decide that. The game will not be released this year.

" Thank you all for your mail.
Here are the results of our Xbox Live Arcade survey.
1. Guwange 2. Esprade 3. Dodonpachi 4. Progear 5. Pink Sweets 6. Mushihime-sama
7. Dangun Feveron 8. Muchi Muchi Pork 9. Espgaluda 10. Ibara
We have received many requests from our overseas users for region-free versions of our games.

"Death Smiles" was released only for Asia, but the region for "Mushi-hime sama Futari" has not been decided yet. I believe it will be decided around the time of Tokyo Game Show 2009.

We are very happy to have received so many e-mails from overseas.

Thank you."

I would love to play a localized Cave shmup, for once...

Not that I can complete any of them or anything, but having to import an Xbox 360 to play them? Not really what I would call "cheap" or "efficient".

Exactly. Even if we wait five or ten years until import 360s aren't so expensive, the value of Cave's games will have multiplied who knows how many times over. I still can't even afford a JP PS2.

Don't get your hopes up on a region-free Mushi Futari port guys. If things go really well at TGS, we might see a localized version of it released about a year after the Japanese release, but nothing more.
